The house has one large room of 55 sq metres, on the ground floor, with two doors to the outside, one to the front and one which opens onto the private garden, and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
Downstairs, the kitchen dining area contains a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, hob and extractor, sink and washing machine, fridge, microwave and kettle. The table seats six in comfort. A good range of cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided with extras of everything in case you have guests. There are a sofa and chairs by the fire, a video and DVD player and a selection of english and french books.
Heating is provided by a woodburning stove and firewood is provided, or you can collect your own in the woods if you prefer.
An oak staircase leads to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms and bathroom. The large main bedroom has a double bed and a single sofa with full size proper mattress. The room is bright and has some exposed stone walls and part of the original roof truss is visible. The second bedroom has one double bed and two bunk beds. Further camp beds or airbeds can be provided if necessary and a baby's cot is available. The bathroom contains a shower enclosure with a normal shower head or all over massage shower, a toilet and washbasin. There is constant hot water.
Outside there are a garden table and chairs, sunloungers and a barbeque. The patio benefits from the sun in the mornings but is shaded during the hot summer afternoons and evenings. The table can be moved elsewhere in the garden if you wish to enjoy the late evening sun. The garden looks out onto fields and woods, and is not overlooked. See some pictures here.
